Freed’s new move is to the Reuters Global news desk

She will work with Reuters reporters across the Asia-Pacific region and the world to further develop and sharpen stories, primarily on business topics including companies, finance, commodities and economics.
Freed shared her career update on LinkedIn that she has decided to move on to a “new challenge and get a broader exposure to more topics.”
“I have thoroughly enjoyed covering aviation for nearly a decade of highs and lows at both Reuters and The Australian Financial Review, in Sydney and in Singapore,” she wrote.
